βIt is all right to cry, crying is a natural response to pain.β Independent Multi-ship Roleplay blog for Human/Android!Baymax from Big Hero 6.

The way his name was spoken sounded so familiar. Hiro blinked, looking up towards the other. Emotional distress. He frowned, nose wrinkling as he tried to grasp why that sounded so familiar to him. He nodded slowly, understanding that this would take time. He was quite relieved to know that this person was so patient with him.
“Uh… I have friends?” He hadn’t been too sure. In fact, this person was the only person he’d seen since he’d woken up in the hospital. He was beginning to think he was alone in the world, left clueless and helpless. “You’re honestly the only person I’ve seen since I woke up,” he muttered, sounding slightly dismayed. The smile that Baymax wore was infectious and Hiro couldn’t help but return it.
He seemed very helpful. “All right, but first thing is first.” He brushed his hand off on the bedsheet and held it out. “What’s your name? I don’t want to keep calling you that guy.” And then, the warmth of his smile increased.
"Could you help me?”
The smile that was plastered on the nurse-bots face only grew when the boy finally returned it. He smiled… he smiled! Did this mean that if Baymax continued to seem happy… then Hiro would be happy as well? The improvement in his patients emotional state relieved a bit of the bot’s worries– only to have them replaced with new ones. … It was normal that he wouldn’t remember this name– right? There was no reason why he should remember his name… After all– his role in the boys life hadn’t been all the lengthly. It was more likely that he would remember someone like Aunt Cass… The time that the nurse-bot had spent in the boys was… rather short…
Despite the robots thoughts– he had to keep a smile on his face. Had to keep a smile on the boy’s face. "Your friends were here this morning… However, they had to leave for classes.” It was a bit sad– that they couldn’t be here when Hiro woke up… “My name is Baymax, your Personal Healthcare Companion.” … Might as well start with the basic introduction, right? … Although– he didn’t quite get what the boy was trying to do with his hand. Was he attempting to do a fist-bump? Balling his hand into a fist, he lightly hit it against the boy’s hand. "Balalalala~“ Cue the cheesy explosion noises from the nurse-bot–
Offering a smile, “No problem.” Tenka responded, “Tell him to take care and not lose you again.” she nodded. It would be a big hassle for the health companion to lose his charge again, after all, what if Hiro really did indeed need Baymax but Baymax was nowhere to be found? That would cause a lot of trouble…
She was about to leave and head for her own lab when she stopped in her steps, nanobots? There was another in this school that was studying nanotechnology!?
She turned around and returned to where she was standing, “Hiro studied nanotech?” she asked, “T-That’s amazing!” she exclaimed, running a hand through her windblown hair, “You think he’ll give me some insight on how to go about making bots for medicine?” she asked, excited.
“Well– no not exactly… more like he invented a series of Nanobots to impress Mr. Callaghan– and offer him a chance to go here. He created them before he started attending here, so he entered the school with that research in his file. He actually enlisted and enrolled several weeks later due to his brother’s passing.” The nurse-bot’s smile drooped slightly– remembering his inventors passing. "However, I am sure that he could give you some advice on how to go about it. It was quite a while ago that he created them, but I’m sure he still remembers a lot.“
"So then– your studying nanobots for medical purposes?"
“A glitch?” Hiro tilted his head to the side. “What happened? Lemme see, I could fix it.”
“…” He was incapable of lying to the boy. Lying was not something that was programmed into him. Well, at least it wasn’t in normal terms. The bot would be able to lie if the truth impacted the health of his patient… but– this was a different story… “It seems as though, I have dreamt something. Something… rather unpleasant at that."
“Since Wasabi is not to keen on germs… I suppose I would hug him. I don’t think that Fred would be opposed to cuddling. I suppose that leaves me with kissing Hiro.” … It was a bit odd, how non-chalantly he said it—
Although, Baymax was a medical robot. He really had no problem with physical contact and the like—
